Acupuncture Initial Visit:
The first visit takes about two hours. An ionic footbath is included and this time is set aside to fill out paperwork. This visit includes an intake of the patient’s medical history and a Chinese medical diagnosis. The visit also includes an acupuncture treatment. It can also include other Chinese medical therapies such as cupping, gua sha, moxa therapy, micro-current, or electro acupuncture. The visit can also include an herbal prescription. Follow-up visits are about an hour. These visits include acupuncture, other Chinese medical therapies, and continued herbal prescriptions. Add Tuina massage with hot stones, or Reiki 20-30 min.
Ionic Detoxifying Footbath:
It is recommended to do a series of 12 foot baths for a complete detoxification. Add reflexology 15min. Footbath package discounts available for 6 or 12 sessions.
Nutrition/Herbal Assessment and Evaluation:
Initial consult and evaluation is about an hour and a half. Follow-up consults range from 30-45min. This includes on online nutritional assessment to be completed before the first visit. After an initial interview to review the patient’s medical history a functional nutritional evaluation is done including nutrition response testing, or Applied Kinesiology. Through this process it is determined what nutrition, supplements, and herbal formulas are best for you .
